CHAPTER SIX Mila went to check the damage to the rocket. She was sitting outside of a sealed off section, and the readings told her it was pure, hard vacuum right next to her. Thankfully, this one wasn't venting atmo, but life support was damaged in the fight. They had two, maybe three hours left, by Flora's calculations. She did the math in her head, but no matter how much she tried, she came up with the same result. She punched her hand on the metal bulkhead, making a thud that reverberated across the corridors. Dammit, dammit, dammit! She couldn't see a way out of this. She closed her eyes, pressed her back on the bulkhead and slid down to the floor.
