CHAPTER TEN Lava lunged at the fugitive Enosian with her bayonet. She couldn't afford an extended fight, she barely had enough oxygen to reach the spacesuits, let alone get into a fight. The Enosian dodged to the side and waved her arms around, clearly an attempt at distraction. It wouldn't work. Lava lunged at her again, slashing through the thinning air. She could feel the hard vacuum tearing up her skin, her blood vessels. The ones in her eyes had already popped, and she could literally see red. Snarling, she went for the Enosian again.
