Darkness. There’s so much darkness around me even though it’s daytime. How do I know? A single ray of sunshine is peeping out of the sealed window of this basement that helped me keep track of at least the time of the day. But I have no idea how long I am locked in this basement for or how many days had it passed since he was hurting me because most time I lay here unconscious of this matted mattress.
The pain I am now in, is no compare to the once I got from the beating. I was whipped; I was punched; I was kicked. But none of them hurt me this much.
