Kayla. Kayla. I heard a voice call, startling me out of my sleep, and just like the night before, I was in the forest, and an ominous feeling washed over me. I was terrified. It was dark, and the moon barely gave me any light. I had no idea how I got there or why, but I knew I needed to escape. So I started to run. Faster and faster I ran, but for some reason, I got nowhere. The air grew cold, and the wind began to howl. I looked around me petrified while my heart raced as if it were on a track and I could barely catch my breath. Kayla. The voice repeated. You can’t hide from me, Kayla. I’ll always find you. The voice said. Then it let out this terrifying laugh, and again I started to run as fast as I could until I came to an altar where people dressed in black robes and wearing red masks
