William's POV

Saturday night was probably the best night if my entire existence. I have been wanting to talk to Vivian for years but never had the chance to really talk and get to know each other.

When Damon told me that he was going to the party, I knew I had to tag along. He was going to his house which is a fortress.

He didn't really need any security detail but I had to see Vivian. Who knew that she was such a little minx?

Interesting what a little champagne can do to someone. I didn't think I had any chance in hell with her, turns out she also has a thing for me.

During the party I stole her away and we had our own little walk in the garden. We were behind the apple tree but when Hannah and company showed up, we had to leave quietly.

Vivian was honest about how she feels about me. She's not looking for just fun now, she wants a serious relationship.

It is also what I want. After all the years I've spent working for other people then Damon, I must say that I'm ready to grow my roots.

I want to settle down and even have a family of my own someday. I can just imagine having girls as beautiful as Vivian. I'm not sure if I'd even let them date.

As much as I love Vivian I'm also very loyal to my employer. Damon might be my friend but he is still my boss and Vivian's brother, which could make things a bit tense.

Firstly Damon has no idea that I feel this way about his sister and secondly, we have both lived a very wild life before, the women and booze.

I don't know if he would approve me being with his sister. Vivian wants me to be open about our relationship but I can't just yet.

So when he said that he wanted to see his sister offices, I was the first one out the door because I wanted to see Vivian.

When I saw her busy working on her desk, I just wanted to close the door behind me and kiss her till she lost her mind.

I wanted to but I had to show restraint because Damon was in the other room. I know I have to tell him at some point but not now.

"So do you agree with her? " That was Damon asking me if I agree with her sister when she said that he was not good enough for Hannah.

The thing is that Damon had a premiscious behaviour and I know because I have witnessed all of it, the women, booze, s*x and drugs, I have seen him through it all.

For most of his years his family has always thought of him as an i***t and he might have been at some point,

but that was the old Damon. During the last three years of his life he had been piss broke and I can tell you that struggle will humble you.

I have seen him pick himself up and it wasn't easy at first. He has had money all his life, he lived a certain lifestyle that needed a lot of money.

He could have just easily asked some of his rich friends to give him some money and they would have because I have seen him help out a lot of them in the previous years.

Instead I saw him selling off his expensive cars, his expensive Jewellery, he moved to a cheaper place and kept one car that I used to drive him in.

I have never seen a man work as hard as he did. He then brought all the things he needed to create a software.

I thought that he was probably going to find seed investment here but he went abroad where no one knew who he was and which family he came from.

They wanted to buy him out with a billion dollars cheque but he refused, he took the money and kept 51% of his project in his name.

that was only the beginning and the billion he made on his own. I thought that he would want to go back home and show everyone how wrong they where about him but instead he stayed away.

Soon after that he got himself checked into rehab and they rehabilitated all of him including the need for different girls every night.

He hasn't been with any woman for months and on Saturday, he had his first drink in years. Even still he didn't have more than two glasses of champagne.

So my answer to his question was very simple. He was the right man for her if not more. I know is he would treat her like a queen.

"No sir but your sister has a point, given the history..."

I wanted him to know that I was on his side but that didn't mean that his sister didn't have a valid point about him.

"William, I have changed, I'm sure you have seen that." Damon argued.

"Yes you have changed, I know that, you know that but she doesn't." "Damon don't forget that you have been off the grid for three years."

I know that he is a smart man and so he will be okay, he will find sense in what I'm telling him. He is a smart man.

"Then I guess I have to prove myself worthy then. Vivian has a soft spot for Hannah, If I blow it with her, I might also lose my sister in the process."

He was right about that one. Vivian was very fond of Hannah, she couldn't keep Hannah's name out of her mouth the entire night.

If I didn't know better I would say that Vivian had a female crush on Hannah. She was singing her praises about wanting to promote her.

"Damon you have to be very careful with this one, she's not like the other girls you have had before."

I saw him staring at me on the review mirror. He probably thinks that I'm doubting him as well. Which I'm not.

" All I'm saying that Hanna is a special girl, It takes a lot to impress your father and that young lady has stolen his heart."

I had to bring in his father so that he understands that Hannah came with a lot of bargage. The entire family seems taken with Hannah.

His mother couldn't stop taking about her beauty at the party. She was gushing over her saying that she was the prettiest woman in the room.

If looks could kill I'm sure Hannah would have been dead by now. Everyone kept staring at her because Mrs Heights couldn't stop gushing over her.

Then Damon's father only wanted to dance with her, He said that she was beautiful and a great dancer, he said he reminds her of his wife when she was still a dancer.

If Damon screws this up, he will have his whole family raining hell on him. I had to remind him of that fact.

"William I know that everyone is fond of Hannah, so am I. I really like this girl. I don't get why everyone doesn't believe me."

He sounded a bit depressed when he said that.

"I believe you." "I mean I have seen the way you look at her man, I've never seen you look at any girl like that." "Not even the Brazilian models"

He smiled a bit. He knew I was telling the truth. I don't know but I think that Damon might even be in love.

I wouldn't ask him that because even if I did, he would say that he wasn't but I knew he was.

We arrived at his penthouse and I drove us into the private parking space. I got out and so did he. I only open doors for ladies, even Damon knows that.

We walked up to the private elevator and we were quiet whilst we waited for the lift to get to the top floor where his apartment was.

"You know, I have also seen a change in you William, I mean since the party on Saturday."

I could act like I didn't hear him but it's just us two in here and I know what he means, but I can still toy with him a bit.

"What do you mean Damon, what changes have you seen that I am not aware of?" I had a little smile when I said that.

"what I mean is that did something happen at the party? as in like did you get lucky and found yourself some sweet ass?" I don't know if he would still be as happy if he knew who's ass I was hoping to tap.

"Well there's a very special lady on my mind and heart but I won't tell you who it is yet because we had just started seeing each other."

I hoped that would be the end of our conversation about my special lady, the woman I think I'm inlove with.

"Well if she was at the party as a guest, chances are that I know her because I knew everyone who was there, unless..."

I hope he doesn't get this one right because we are in a confined space and I would hate for us to start punching each other in this small space.

"Unless if it's one of Vivian's employees which I don't even know one, except for Hannah."

I was about to open my mouth but the elevator stopped and the bell rang. I was so glad it did because I knew if he kept on asking, he would eventually end up with the truth.

When the bell rang he couldn't wait to get out of the cart because I know it for a fact that he doesn't like to get stuck in small spaces.

I can see that he really likes this one but even he has to admit that it's going to take a lot to impress her.
