Finally just an hour later than the Earl had intended, they set off over the uncultivated rough ground. With them was a tent that actually was the only one available and they took blankets and sheets from the yacht. There were four men in charge of the tent that was carried by six horses. It was, Dalma reckoned, a very costly operation and the horses were laden down with all sorts of strange objects before they finally left.
