Run, Ashley, run.
A tiny voice in my head rang
And I ran as if my entire life depended on it. Thank goodness there was an open field behind the clinic and I made a dash for it.
I ran as fast as my feet could carry me, not stopping to see if he was after me or not.
"Ashley!" I heard his voice echo through the woods.
But I was not going to let him stop me. It's of no use anyway. Even if I died right now, nobody is ever going to miss me.
