Tommy POV We have been heading north for ages in our wolf forms now, but there is still no sign of Val. I hear 1 of the 2 guard dogs groaning and breathing heavily as we head uphill once again. “Can we please take a break?” one of the guard dogs barks at us not even a minute after. Turning around, I see both men have shifted back and are looking rather pale and worn out. I’m not sure why I am not, it must be the adrenaline and my will to get to her.
