I sat back and tried to figure out where the ultrasound could be. The last time I had seen it was yesterday night, just before I'd gone to bed. I had pulled it out of my bag to stare at the little white blob that my doctor had told me was my baby. If it wasn't in my bag, maybe I had left it on my bedside table. For a moment, I was worried that Aiden would find it before I had a chance to tell him  but soon dismissed that fear. Other than what had happened earlier, Aiden never came into my bedroom, so I should be safe.
