I stand there, waiting for her to make her decision. I had not planned to impose on her bath time. It kind of just came out. She looks undecided. I turn to leave. "No wait." She calls out. "I'm not ready for bath time together just yet but how about a compromise. Cuddle time after I finish?" It looks like that took a lot out of her to offer.
I smile at her. "Yes. that would be great. Shall I take Pika too?" At some point the little critter had made his way onto the tubs edge.
"He's ok. I think. As long as he doesn't turn into a gremlin." I look at her confused.
"Little ugly green thing...was cute but he drank something after. well f**k. Never mind. I forget you have probably never seen it. Maybe one day we can watch it." She sighs and picks Pika up.
