Chapter 2

A few years back......

Reeva Mehrotra and Rashi Mehra best friends from childhood, we can say that friends from born. Studying together with the same subjects and the same choices. They are exactly opposite to each other. Reeva's parents passed away when she was 15 years old. Rashi's Parents are enough rich. They are neighbours.

Reeva is more pretty than Rashi but they both have not to bother about it. This is the final year of their college. Reeva wants to be a fashion designer.

Her parents left enough property for her. Her father Mr. Avinash Mehrotra and Rashi's father, Mr Rajesh Mehra were best friends. After the death of Mr Mehrotra, Mr Mehra looks after his business. He trains Reeva for being a good businesswoman. But her desire is being a fashion designer. When her parents passed away, Mr Mehra requested her to stay with them but she denied because she wants to stay with memories of her mother, in that house. Mr Mehra didn't force her because they are neighbours, so they are almost together. Rashi stays always with her in her house.

"Reeva....listen... Why are you always in a hurry? " Rashi shouted while running behind her.

"Rashi... We will be late for the next lecture, I don't want to be late. " She replied.

"Oyyye Hello..Ms. student of the year, can't you bunk one lecture for me..?" She yelled.

"No"

"Reeva... Listen...."

"I will not bunk class."

"Today Mr Bakshi is not coming in the college." Anaya, One of her classmates, told while she entered in the class. Rashi is dancing in front of her with happiness., " Yessss."

"Ok, now say what do you want?" Reeva asked.

" Valentine's week has been started from today and today is the Rose day," Rashi said happily.

"So what? I'm not interested in days." Reeva irritated.

They came in the garden of the college and sat there on the bench. Reeva was checking her phone. Rashi said with excitement, " Hey look, your Romeo is coming."

Reeva behaved like she didn't hear her. A sedan car stopped in the parking. Rajiv Khanna, most handsome hunk of the college stepped down from the car with a bunch of yellow roses. Girls of the college have a big crush on him, but he has a crush on Reeva, from the first day of the college.

" Ok, nothing new. My Romeo is coming is not perfect, you should tell like, Rashi's Crush is coming." Reeva said in an uninterested tone.

Another charming, handsome boy, Rakshit Mathur, stepped down from the left side of the car with the same bunch of yellow roses, which is in Rajiv's hand. Rajiv and Rakshit are best friends.

" So what, If I have a crush on Rakshit. " Rashi pouted. " Look, they are coming with roses, I hope that Rakshit will give those roses to me," Rashi said while jumping in excitement.

" Stop it, Nonsense." Reeva irritated.

Rashi's eyes wide opened when she noticed that they are coming towards them. she can't speak more, she shuttered Reeva, but Reeva doesn't leave her phone.

Both boys came towards them, They have perfect and dashing personality.

Reeva was looking in the phone, her social media news feed but her mind was continuously thinking about that boys.

She knows very well that Rajiv has a crush on her but her heart has feelings for Rakshit but she hides her feelings because Rashi has a deep crush on Rakshit. She had observed many times that Rakshit has something for her. Their both hearts understand each other's feelings but they can't reveal their feelings. Rakshit knows very well about Rajiv's crush on Reeva.

When she looked at them, they are already in front of them. Rakshit gave roses to Rashi, Rashi hung up at his action. Reeva shutters her, and Rashi was jumping with excitement.

Rakshit asked Rashi, " Friends now?" Rashi nodded her head positively. They studied in the same class from the first year of the college and this is last year of the college but due to Reeva, she can't befriend with any boy, not even with Rakshit.

Rajiv kneeled down and Reeva stood up with a shocking expression, What is going on? Before she could understand something he gave roses to her, she looked a little pain in Rakshit's eyes. She accepted flowers from Rajiv and smiled.

Before he says something else, she left the bench and moved. Rashi runs behind her, " Arrrreee year, In the end, time of the college, a friendship begins and you... let's talk with them."

Reeva nodded her head, increased her speed of walking and moved towards the library. Rashi irritated, " Ohh god this i***t girl. She never understands love."

Reeva has a silent feeling for Rakshit. It doesn't mean that it is her love. But She likes Rakshit due to her qualities and nature. She likes Rajiv but it does not love. The rose day has changed their lives.

Rakshit and Reeva sacrificed their feelings for their best friends.

Reeva is happy that Rashi got her crush and she decided to give a chance to Rajiv and her relationship.

The next day in the college, They both girls entered in the college, Rashi was so excited that today, maybe Rakshit will propose her. She perfectly dressed up with pink coloured Frock and pink high heels. Reeva is a simple girl, she is sure that Rajiv will propose her today because she accepted his flowers yesterday and her heart is ready to accept Rajiv. She wears black jeans and a lemon yellow coloured short top. With dark lipstick and mascara, she completed her look.

They just enter the college and the boys are in front of them. Rashi's face shows her happiness. Both boys gave a bike made with red roses to their girls and kneeled down, and asked together to girls in front of so many students of the college...

Rajiv..: "Reeva, Will you be my valentine's forever?"

Rakshit:" Rashi, will you be my valentine's forever?"

Rashi's heart is on the ninth cloud at the time. She agreed and said loudly " Yessss."

Reeva calmly just nodded her head to Rajiv in reply. Rakshit took Rashi's hand in his hand and kissed on her fingers and asked, " I love you, Do you love me?" Rashi jumped and said, " yes I love you, too." Rakshit asked Reeva, " May I take away my girl with me...?

Reeva feels embraced and nodded her head positively, she is about to move and Rajiv holds her hand and stopped her. He kneeled down and said lovingly, " Thank you for accepting my flowers, I always lose my control when you passed by me, you have become the light of my life, I want to live each moment of my life with you, I think I'm falling in love with you, I love you, Reeva, Do you love me?"

She sighed and blushed hard. She looked down and nodded her head and run to the class.

Today's gossip is all about these two new couples. On the way to her class, she heard a lot,...

"Finally Rajiv got what he wants..."

"Reeva took too much time to accept him."

"Congratulations Reeva. You both are looking nice together as a couple."

etc comments.

Even she can't stay more in class because of this stupid propose by Rajiv. She left the class in embarrassment. She runs towards her car, she murmured with disgust, " i***t, why the hell he proposed me ?? can't he propose me when I was alone? Stupid, Idiot....aaargghh."

Her phone buzzes, She opened the phone and in chatting group, a photo uploaded. That photo is her and Rajiv's photo when he proposed her, someone clicked. She irritated and her eyes filled with tears. She is not like other girls. She can't tolerate that someone points out at her.

She reached the parking, she doesn't found her car. Then she remembered, the key of the car was with Rashi and she understood that she took away her car with Rakshit.

She touched her forehead and decided to hire an auto or taxi. She walks towards the gate and a car stopped nearby her. She knew that he is Rajiv. He came out car and pleaded her to sit inside. She denied first but he requested her too much and made her sit inside. She didn't want to go with him but she doesn't wang any new scene at the gate of the college. He drove a car and looked at her.

" Are you angry with me? " He asked after a few minutes.

She nodded in reply.

"Are you comfortable with me, you just nodded your head when I asked?" He tried to talk with her. She just hummed.

" You are so pretty, thank you for being with me. You are my crush from the first day of college but I didn't have the courage to ask you. This is the final year, and I don't want to lose you." He said with a smile.

But she doesn't react.

" Do you know that I had a crush on you?" He again asked. It's just his try to talk with her. Each and every student of the college knew about his crush on her, he is rich and his father was a trustee of the college, so nobody dares to persuade Reeva.

She nodded her head positively. They reached her home.

she opens the door of the car, he holds her hand, " If you don't mind, shall we spend some time with each other?"

She nodded negatively. She was too much disturbed not because of her feelings for Rakshit but because Rajiv proposed her in front of college and she felt an embarrassment in class. Students look at her like she is an Alien. But she decided to start her new life with Rajiv.

Next day she decided, not to go to college. Rashi asked her but she denied to go.

After some time her doorbell sounded. She opened the door, Rajiv standing in front of the door with a decorated basket of so many chocolates.

He wishes her, " Happy chocolate Day, my valentine." She wishes back, "Happy chocolate Day." and received a basket of chocolates.

Rajiv is confused because she didn't talk with him, whenever he asked something she only nodded her head. But he asked with a lot of expectations of positive reply from her, " Can we spend a day together?...please."
