Chapter 10

Flashback Ends...

Reeva is packing her luggage. Each and every dress makes her cry. Everything she purchased with Rajiv. She threw some dresses with anger. More than half of her dresses were gifted by Rajiv. She is the best designer, but Rajiv always gifted her dresses, which he brought from out of India. She angrily threw her branded clothes. She packed only a few clothes, which she had designed for herself and some from her daily routine clothes.

She opens her locker, She looks at her jewellery, soon the Kangans are in her hand, she remembered the day... When her mother in law gave her as a gift. In fact, she is the real inheritor of that Kangas. She holds both Kangans in hand and looking at them with teary eyes... She opened another box, She found a necklace... 

# Flashback...

"Reeva... Good morning Beta, I have something special for you." Mrs Khanna said lovingly.

"Good morning Mom. What is in this box mom?" Reeva asked.

"A special gift for my daughter." Mrs Khanna replied with a huge smile on her lips.

Rajiv came out from the closet and said, " Good morning mom, Only for her... this is not fair, I also want the gift."

" You want this???? "Mrs Khanna exclaimed.

"Yes, of course.

"Okay, promise me that you will wear this." She said in teasing way to Rajiv.

"Okay, agree. Let me see, what is the gift???" He tried to snatch but Mrs Khanna is more active.

" No, No. Not so easy. " She opens the box and show him these Necklace and asked, " Do you really want these? You have to wear it. Are you ready my son??" She taunted Rajiv.

Reeva laughed a lot at him. Rajiv irritates, "Not so funny, okay."

"Leave him, Reeva listen to me. You have a right to know about this. I got these necklaces from my mother in law and she got it from her mother in law. It's our ancestral necklace... and I have already given you Kangans,......."

"Mom..."

"Reeva"

"Mom, Please I don't need anything more.. please keep these all with you." Reeva didn't allow to speak her.

Still, Mrs Khanna continued, " Reeva, It's only for yours, and promise me that you will never give it to anyone, never sell it. If you will give it someone, she must be your daughter or daughter in law."

"Mom, please."

"Reeva, promise me."

" Okay, mom promise."

"Yeah, Now I can die peacefully."

"Mom, shut up, anything you say... Nothing would have happened to you." Reeva said with anger.

" If your 'Sasu - Bahu' drama has been finished, anyone will serve me breakfast. I'm getting late for the office." Rajiv said dramatically.

"Yup, I'm also coming. " Reeva pouted.

" Okay, you both come, I will serve. Breakfast is ready. Let's go." Mrs Khanna said.

All stepped down and had breakfast. After breakfast, they went to the office by car. Rajiv was talking about their new project and upcoming tenders. He wants to teach Reeva about some business techniques. He wants that Reeva beats Mr Mehra in business. So he is controlling himself to destroy Mehra Industries.

Reeva cries hugging her pieces of jewellery, which is given by her mother in law. She thought for a while.... and keep Kangans and Necklace in one box. Packed them and put them in her bag. She is rubbing her hand on her stomach.

She has almost done. She doesn't want to pack more things, because each thing reminds her Rajiv. They both have decorated this house with their love. Filled the house with sweet memories.

"Didi, Are you going somewhere?" Kalki asked.

"Yeah," she nodded.

"But why Didi?"

"I can't stay more in this house." She said heavily.

"Didi..... But where will you go?" Kalki asked worriedly.

"Kalki, don't worry about me. I have my house, my father's house." Reeva said and saw a sad face of Kalki. She understood that she wants to stay with her.

"You can come with me if you wish." She said with a smile.

"Yess, Didi... I want to be always with you." She excitedly replied.

"Okay, go and pack your bags.

After dinner, they gossiped for some time.

Next day morning.

Kalki greets her, "Good morning, Didi."

"Good morning, you look happy today, Kalki," Reeva asked with a small smile on her lips.

"Nothing, Didi...

Didi... Breakfast will be ready, come fast. " She informed Reeva.

"Okay... And.... call the driver, I have some work for him." Reeva said to Kalki.

Kalki sends driver as per order. He is now in front of her.

"Will you please drop me at my home?" Reeva pleads him.

"Ji... Madam." He replied.

"One more thing a..." Reeva hesitated.

"Ji Madam. "

"I'm leaving this house, would you like to work for me?" Reeva asked with expectations.

"Yes madam, why not? I need work and you are leaving this home, so I will not have a longer job here." He replied.

Reeva smiled and asked, "What is your name?"

"Sunil" He replied smilingly.

"Nice name,..... and... thanks for yesterday, you made me reached a hospital in time." She thanked him.

"Madam, which car will you chose?" He asked.

"Sunil, All cars belong to your sir, I don't need them. Look at the gate.." She pointed to the main gate.

A red coloured brand new Mercedes Benz S-class entered from the main entrance. Reeva smiled and said, "This one will be with us from now."

Two people stepped out from the car, maybe they are sales agents. They greeted Reeva, " Good morning, Madam. How are you?"

She greeted back, " Good morning"

"Here is your car, please sign these documents, other formalities will be completed by us." One of them said to Reeva and gave her some papers.

After Mr Mehra's Betrayal, Reeva always reads papers before signing them. She read all the papers carefully and signed them. Agents gave her key to the car and took her to leave.

"Sunil. Sat our luggage in the car." She ordered the driver.

"Ji. Madam."

"And.. call me Didi. You are like a brother." Reeva said with a smile. He smiled back.

Reeva and Kalki took their breakfast. Kalki cleaned the utensils and kitchen. She locked the house carefully.

They sat in the car and Sunil drove a car for her house. Reeva's eyes filled with tears. She never thought that one day she has to leave this house. She guides the driver on the way.

They reached her house, she opens the main gate of the bungalow.

The main gate of neighbour's bungalow is opened, Mr Mehra came out in his car, he glared at Reeva, but now Reeva hasn't affected by him. Almost over between them.

"Sunil, take these keys," She gives him some keys.

"Go and give these keys and documents to Mr Rajiv Khanna...And. " Reeva ordered.

"And tell him that Reeva Mehrotra doesn't need any mercy or compassion to live the life. I don't need anything from him." Reeva ordered him with anger.

Pain is distracting from her voice. The driver left them at home. Reeva and Kalki entered in the house. A smile appears on her lips, her childhood, her bestie, her mother and father everything runs in her mind.

She sat on a bench in the garden, Kalki starts cleaning the house and ordered Reeva, " Didi, you stay outside, let me first clean the house."

"Okay." She sat on the bench in the home garden.

Her phone starts buzzing...

The name appears on the screen is.

"Rajiv"
