As the sounds from vehicle Kyla was in changed from tarmac to the crunching of small stones, it came to a halt, she realised it was only a matter of time before they pulled her out. Sensibly she knew should let them know instantly that her ankle was now broke. But sense, had gone out of the door, all she wanted, more than anything was to not fail for Kyla, as she clung to the vein hope that they would not notice and that she could mask the pain and continue till the end of this process.
