“So, he said it was an anxiety attack and nothing else?”
When the doctor left, Eugenio had gone upstairs to check on Carlos. He suggested that they go for a night out. That way Carlos could relax. Carlos liked the idea a lot, especially since it would give him a chance to spend more time with Eugenio.
“Yeah, he told me to just take it easy for a bit, which probably meant a lot more to Beto than it did to me.”
“Another fight?” Eugenio asked with a laugh.
“Eh, yes and no. I mean, I get where he is coming from, but I wish he would see it from my point of view too.”
“You are both too stubborn for that.”
Carlos shot Eugenio a playful look. “You don’t know me enough to know that.”
“Maybe, but I’d really like to change that. Which is why I thought of going out to a nice dinner.
