KATE’S POV
I know I sounded a bit harsh when I said my last words. Andrea's face looked pale and she went mute after what I said.
I heaved a deep sigh “Andrea, I'm not trying to say we are too poor but Fred's father is way too out of our league. Why didn't you stop when you found out he was Fred's father?” I asked,faking sympathy or whatever. I can't let Andrea start suspecting me.
“No, I'm not angry. You are right,Kate. I never thought I had a chance with him. Maybe I needed someone that would tell me that” Andrea's words were masked with sorrow.
