I haven't slept in my room since the day I persuaded Brooke to return to the castle.
Brooke doesn't seem to mind whether I sleep in my office or with any of my mistresses. She isn't the least bit envious of them.
Brooke speaks to them normally, but my mistresses see her as a threat since she's staying in my chambers.
She's been concealing my mark with make-up.
I'm not sure why she doesn't feel anything; she's usually painting in her studio.
She seemed to be engrossed in her work. I've done everything to have her reject me without her knowing since she's human, but all of my tactics have failed.
What am I overlooking?
