Isabella sighed and sadly went to pick up her clothes. She didn't feel confident enough to get dressed while Angelo was in front of her so she went into the bathroom and wore her clothes.
Angelo did not say anything about the call Isabella received from Steve and this unnerved her. She knew from experience that Angelo did not condone her being in contact with Steve so why wasn't he saying anything?
She briefly considered asking him about it but changed her mind. If she began to explain herself, it might make her appear more guilty and make Angelo upset.
After getting dressed, she let her wet hair still fall on her back and followed behind as Angelo walked out of the hotel room. He boarded a taxi and instructed the driver to take them to the police station.
