“Sean?” “Huh?” “Do you like that maybe we could move to chain or the U.S.?”  “What do you mean?” “I mean that I don't really think that we should live here that maybe we got go live with my dad or at less in the area. I want to see him. I miss him. The only time I got to see him was when he didn't have doctors over testing me for anything and everything that he could think of.” “Yeah we could move there. But what about college. Did you get into Claude Bernard University in Lyon?” “I did but I mean after college.” “That would be nice. But only if you want to. Well it's just an idea.” “Sean didn't you say you were going to call your mom and see if she was at work.” Sean looked over to me and laughed. We pulled into his spot in a line on cars. “You painted your house.” “Blue.” “Yeah, dad thought it was a good color for the family.” “Okay.” I laughed. Sean's house was three stories high and had a five-door car log. Just like me Sean had brothers and sisters. My brother Sam and his brother Nick are best friend. Nothing could stop these two. Right now they are in the army together. We hear from them about six times a year and hope that they are going to be home soon. Half way to the door Sean's little sister come running a full speed out the door into my arms. Hugging me tight. “Nora you're home!” I laughed a little. “Yes sweetie I'm home.” “Where were you for so long?” I looked over at Sean. He walked back over and took Ashley from me. “Nora was at camp in the U.S.A.” She moved from side to side to look and me. “The U.S.A.! Really?”  I nodded. She jumped down and ran back to me. “That's so cool Nora. Why didn't you take me?” “Well because it was only for big kids.” She stopped and put her hands on her hips. “I'm a big kid.”  I didn't know what to say. She was nine now and well she didn't really know where I was for a year. I smiled and walked to the door. Sean was in the living room that was to the right as you walked in the house. A wining stair case to the left. Ashley ran ahead up the stairs. Yelling. “Nora’s back.” Two boys popped their heads out of a door. The twins. Alex and Matt. The next thing I know I had five kids all around me, hugging me. Matt pulled away first “I've-“ he looked at everyone else. “We've missed you so much.” “I bet.” I laughed and brought him back into the hugging. Sean came into the front and looked at me then the kids and back. “Okay, okay mine turn.” They looked at him. Alex looked up at Sean and me.  “One word for you bro.” “What's that?” “Hell no.” “That's two hun.” “Okay two words but still.” Sean started to pull kids off me. Alex was the last. This kid put up a fight. I smiled as I tried to help Sean. Once he was off he tried going back but Sean win this. He stood one hand on his hips the other pointing at us. “I will win next tell Sean I will.” And with the he went back to his room. “Okay this is the plan for what we are going to do.” “We are going to go to hospital get you looked at and then come back here and mess with the twins.” He leaned in for a kiss but stopped. “I love you Nora.” I stood up on my tiptoes to kiss him. “I love you too.” In the car he grabbed my hand and held it the whole ride there. Pulling into the parking lot of the hospital Sean looked at me. I let my head fall on the back of the seat.  “I don't want to do this.” “I know, but something is wrong you shouldn't be blacking out so much.”  He got out and walked over to my side. Opening the door for me. I didn't move a bone. “Are you coming?” I looked up at him. “Do I have to?”  “Yes come on. It's not going to be that bad.”  “Yes it will.”  “Nora please. Do it for me.” As I got out the wind pitted up some. Wait in the waiting room for his mom to come out and get us, was lie waiting to see if I'd die or live. We where there for an hour before his mom come out calling my name. She looked at me as Sean closed the door of the room. “You've changed so much Nora. You're more beautiful then I remember.” I didn't know what to say so I just smiled. She hugged me and told me to sit down on the bed. “Nora I'm going to have to do some test. Take your blood stuff like that. Okay?” “Umm, I guess just please found out what's wrong okay.” “I'll do my best. I'll be right back with something's.” “Sean.” “Yeah?” “Do you really love me?”  He looked down at me. “What makes you say that?”  “I don't know, I was just wondering.” “Nora you know that I do. I want to be with you the rest on your live. I want to go to bed at night knowing that you'd be right next to me. And I want to be the one to keep you safe.” When she walked back in she was holding a needle. Sean hold her hand and when I tell you to grip hard do it. But don't hurt her. Okay. I lead my hand out to him. She put it next to my skin.  “Now Sean.” I looked away and into Sean's eyes. Within ten minutes she was done with all the tests. “Okay Nora can you tell me what happens that leads up to all the black outs.” I looked at her and Sean then took a deep breath. “I've looked everywhere online but nowhere have the symptoms I have. Everything starts to get black and I can barely see, sometimes I can't see at all. Usually it only lasts for a few seconds but lately it's been longer even when I'm lying down. The muscles in my shoulders that are connected to my neck start to almost burn and hurt really bad. Sometimes there's a throbbing in my head. Sometimes there's also a sound in my ears to where I can barely hear, especially when I keep standing or sitting up. I have to lie down.” “Okay Nora this is the thing dizziness is the first sign of an impending episode of fainting or black outs. Most dizziness with subsequent fainting occurs because there is a decrease in the amount of oxygen or blood supply to your brain. More than 70 percent of episodes of dizziness and fainting are not serious. But might be in your place. Fainting spells are very common in adolescents, especially girls. It may not be medically serious, or could be. This is very important. Most non-serious spells are related to an external event such as anxiety, getting really bad news, pain or threat of pain like a needle. But don't worry okay many teenagers have syncopate episodes when they change positions rapidly, like getting up quickly from a squatting or sleeping position.” “But I don't get up fast. Well maybe it’s not black outs then.” “Nora there a chance that you could maybe be seizure prone.” “Seizure prone?” “Mom what do you mean?”  Well I’ll go and look at the test but in the mean time you need to go back to the house. Sean make her something to eat. Looks like she hasn't ate in days.” “Yes mom.” He kissed her on the cheek. I got up off the bed and hugged her goodbye. “I see you tonight sweetie okay your still staying the night right?” “Yes I am.”  She walked us to the front and signed me out. Back in the car I was looking at Sean as he drove home. “Thank you.” “For what?” “For loving me and taking me to the hospital.” “I love you too I guess that's what I should say.” He laughed at me. “I love you Sean.” He looked at me then back at the road. The rain started up again.
