While Jennifer's Sunday dance class was at 2 pm, her Saturday class began at 9 am, and that allowed her to take her time on her picnic date, but didn't give her plenty to go back home and prepare herself.
Jeremy had told her he'd come around noon and, as always, he was on time. She was glad she was able to finish right before he rang the bell. More importantly, she was glad Lucas had yet to come for his weekly-visit-s***h-weekend-stay. Although her anger had dimmed over the week, her jealousy was still having a field day, and she wasn't sure she would be able to keep her cool in front of him. She was also afraid her body might do her the shame of surrendering, yet again, to his experienced touch.
