Lilly's POV
The roads were dark and empty. Nothing was clearly visible in the street lights except a piece of land before me that I walked on until hitting another spot further that has street lights around. The air was thick and sense, I can't see anything properly and the way the night insects chirped, it gave the atmosphere a spooky background.
I won't lie that I was not scared, my heart was in my throat all ready to pop out of my mouth. There was no going back now, I have the sight of my unfortunate house long back. Now when I turned around, I could not see anything except emptiness with no presence of a single living being around me. It was just me, my small bag with few clothes and my teddy.
