"But sir!" Vincent confusingly gawked over his back as Zander walked out. "Don't know what happened to him suddenly!" He shrugged his shoulders looking back at me with a smile.
But as soon as he realized my teary eyes, his eye brows scrunched, "I am sorry... Excuse me." I looked at the floor and turned around.
"But Lillian..." I just rushed out the door before he completed his sentence.
My eyes were lowered to the ground even when I exited Austin's father's store.
