It was amusing to watch Tamara during the training session. She kept glancing over at Dane, then the cutest smile would form on her face.
I wasn't sure what changed while she was in the forest with Dane, but they had clearly spent some time together, and they appeared to be getting along much better. I didn't know if she planned to accept him as her mate, but I had a feeling she wouldn't be able to resist the pull of the mate bond, judging by the way she was barely able to keep her eyes off of him.
When we were done with the training session, I was quick to ask, "Do you wanna hang out with me and Emily?"
"Nah, I'm gonna wait here for Dane. There are some things we still need to discuss," she nonchalantly replied before sitting down on the ground.
