After we enjoyed some more quality time together, it was time for dinner. When Emily and I got to the dining hall, we sat across from Snow and Alana.
There were two empty seats next to me, so I stretched my legs across them. As soon as Tamara and Dane joined us a little while later, I moved my legs, so they could have those empty seats.
Tamara sat next to me with Dane on the other side of her. She was clearly not in the mood to talk. When I greeted her, all Tamara did was nod her head, then she looked down at the table and got lost in thought.
I decided not to probe right at that moment. Instead, I sparked up a conversation with Emily about what all there was to do on their territory.
