“ How can a man be so full of himself , how dare him do that to her and toss her out like a baggage “ Eleanor said to herself on her way back to her room , she had not even bothered if the cook was right behind her and she could hear .
“ I could care less “
After they both entered into the room and the cook placed the food tray on the table , she turned to leave when she noticed the foul expression on Eleanor ‘s face .
“ What’s wrong ? Did I do something wrong my lady ? Is it my behavior in the study ? Or is it the food ? You don’t like the food ? “
“ Oh no ! I’m sorry , that’s not it . Just ignore my expression right now , I don’t feel to great with some things , don’t worry about it , and I appreciate your cooking and I bet the food would taste as nice as it looks “
“ I’m sorry , I didn’t know you did not want to eat your dinner there , pardon me “
“ I assure you madam , that is not it at all , there is really nothing for you to be worried about , if anything it’s your boss who has to apologize , you can go “
She lowered her head and exited the room . . . she was afraid of something , why would she assume everything was about her , she has something she is worried about “
“ Did you not see her arm ? “
“ What about it ? “
“ there seems to be like wounds on it , and she is too jumpy too ?
“ I agree with the jumpy part , but it could be a mistake that you think her arm has wounds , maybe from the work she has been doing in the kitchen “
“ But did something happen to you , you seem out of space “
“ Nothing , I am fine . I want to eat my food now , it’s going to get cold from all the questions “
“ What did he discuss with you about your father ? Has he been found ? Did someone see him ? “
“ Keep your questions till after I’m done eating Jess , And you can go about the mansion as you please , it’s been said we are no longer bound to this room alone “
“ Oh should I be happy about this wonderful news or sad , what about the household , the family , do they know we don’t know anything about this , are they willing to accept it ? “
“ Well , you can worry about that tomorrow , there is no place you can go this night anymore , we will worry about that tomorrow “

The look on Eleanor ‘s face when he ordered her food to be taken to her room broke his heart , he didn’t know why ? Damn he didn’t even know what he was thinking to kiss her like that , but he knows what had triggered it , she looked so appealing , she is still the only woman apart from his family to ever talk back at him like that , And she looked amazing doing it . Even though he feels annoyed every time , he would pay to have a conversation with her again.
There is no reason to feel guilty about it , she should have seen it coming , but she had refused to avoid it, she had embraced it instead , so it wasn’t just about him , it was her decision too , so he refuses to feel guilty. The only thing He must do is to avoid her at all cost , because there are so much he should be worried about and thinking about or putting into place instead of thinking in her direction and think about the hot kiss they had just shared , tomorrow will be a new day . As far as he was concerned , Eleanor and her whole family combined was below him . And that should be that .
And also he has someone he is engaged to , even though it’s not for love but duty , he has to be responsible and give his all . He has his role to play weather its duty or responsibility. But of course it’s not love that he has towards Eleanor , it shouldn’t hold him down as much as he felt . . . Damn he does not even know what love feels like , he cannot define it or explain it even if his life depended on it.
He is just going to go with whatever is convenient for him and his family . . . Whatever that would be . . . Tomorrow is another day .
