Fate

When you give up on life, never give up on yourself, because there is so much for you to keep on giving!   But why won't it go the way I wanted? I told myself and continued to browse on my social media account.    I considered myself as a very ordinary person. Doing things and giving extra effort to survive.    Peter, are you awake? It's time for breakfast. My mom said from downstairs.    "Yes, ma. I'll go downstairs after I take a bath."    After taking time preparing for work, I went down to the kitchen.   "Hurry up, fill yourself. Don't you ever dare not finish your food", said Mom while washing the dishes.   "Sure ma, I'm not a kid anymore to remind me every time. I said and hugged her.    "By the way, we need to pay the utility bills and tuition of your sister", she said.    "I've already prepared for that. Don't worry", I said.   I finished eating and said goodbye to my Mom. After getting off the bus, I took the usual route of going to work. It's a shortcut I discovered a few months ago.    While walking, I checked my phone to see if that person already replied. Well, still no response. I decided to confess my feelings to him. I only got one response from him.    Silly.   I was about to put my phone in my pocket, but I saw a kid crying alone. I went where the kid was and asked her if why she was crying.   "I want to see my dad, he works here", she said and pointed at the construction site behind us.   "Let's go. I'll bring you to your dad", I said and held out my hand.   Before she reached my hand, I saw a motorcycle going in our direction. It seems like it lost control. I pushed the kid away, and the vehicle hit me and thrown me off the ground. I felt my head hit the road. I can hear people shouting.   I felt my heartbeat declining. I can't feel anything.    As I am closing my eyes, I saw a very dim light. It felt like it was calling me. I raised my hand and tried to reach it as I floated in the vast emptiness.
