CHAPTER 4 Everyone in the room quickly closed their eyes and turned away from Timmy. Pas continued to talk to him in hushed tones as he rubbed Timmy’s arms, trying to comfort and sooth him. After a few minutes, he could feel Timmy relax under his hands, and Pas blew out a relieved breath. “It’s okay. He’s calm now, you can all look again.” Everyone looked to them, their eyes full of concern, and a few sympathetic, but not one of them, not even Wyndingo, looked angry or aggressive. “See, Timmy.
