Zane     I wasn’t sure how long I should wait to check on Zoey, but I refused to let anybody else go into the bedroom.  After a few hours, I peeked into the room, and it was obvious that she was sleeping.     A few more hours passed, then I started feeling a dull ache in my heart.  I knew it wasn’t the same pain caused by my fated mate, leading me to believe that I was feeling Zoey’s heartache.     Needing to know for sure if that was the case, I walked down the hall and pressed my ear against the door.  Sure enough, I could hear my sister weeping on the other side of the door.     I was about to open the door when a familiar voice came through my mind link.  ‘Where are you?  I need to see Zoey,’ Xavier adamantly insisted.     ‘What you need to do is leave my sister alone!  You have a
