47 - Stepping Up

*Trigger Warning* Nathan As soon as Winona’s cabin came into view, I saw the front window was busted. Fear of what could have happened while we were gone led to me sprinting the rest of the way there. The front door showed signs of a fist having been slammed against it, and that made the fear grow stronger. Without thought, I turned the doorknob and was relieved to find it unlocked. Not wasting another second, I entered the cabin and looked around. The first thing I noticed was a thin trail of blood in front of me. My eyes followed the trail to the left where it apparently started in the kitchen. Next, my eyes followed the trail to the right in the direction of the hallway. Grace saw the same thing and immediately rushed toward the hallway, so I slowly walked in that direction
