Captain Cox met Helena when she finished climbing the Jacob’s ladder. “Sorry we came in. When you didn’t return last night, we contacted the Russians, and they told us of the count’s emergency escape plan. We hoped you would tag along if you needed to.”
“No… you did correctly. I hate to admit it, I did not plan that adventure very well. I promise it won’t happen again.” Helena took a blanket one of the crew offered. She wasn’t necessarily cold, but she found comfort in wrapping herself against what might have happened.

“Yes, we need to set course for Acre. I believe that is still Ottoman territory?”
