My words seemed to hit them both, but after a few seconds, the look Kai had on her face baffled me. She had a blank look on her face like the piece of information I had slapped her with did not matter at all.
Jude has a nonchalant look on his face. I had expected them to be cowering at the fact that I knew about their affair, but they did not seem to care one bit. I scoffed, folding my arms as I spoke.
“What is this? You both don’t care about this? I know about your affair.”
Kai shrugged. “Well, I was indeed shocked about how you could have possibly known about it, but that’s just it.”
Something about her attitude and Jude’s nonchalant behavior was odd.
