Just like Rhett had promised, I was given a room, which was right beside his chambers. He wanted me close to him, and that kind of filled me with a sense of relief.
The moment I stepped into the room he had prepared for me, I was at loss for words.
It was easily the most luxurious room I had ever seen. The first thing that caught my eye was the massive king-sized bed, covered in soft, white linens that looked like they belonged in a five-star hotel.
I walked over to the bed, running my hands over it. This was the first time I had touched a bed so soft. The bed I slept on, back at my house could not hold a candle to this.
