Marrying Octavia was the best thing I ever did. Everyday is one splendid surprise after another. I mean who could have ever imagined that someone like me would be fortunate enough to have a baby with a goddess like Octavia, that again this early in the union.

" Muse we are going to be parents. Isn't that exciting?" I ask with great excitement, eventhough she doesn't retaliate.

" Babe it isn't possible. It's way too soon. We all know our compatibility ratio. Parenting a child now is impossible" She states the facts vexed

" I don't understand Octavia. Don't you want to have a baby. You should be happy" I inform feelings disappointment slowly creeping in.

" It's not that babe. I just want to be sure. I don't want to get our hopes up" She informs simply as she caress the back of my palm.

" I am sure you're, Luna. If you want your could take a urine test" The doctor suggests, offering her a test strip, which she willing collects.

" I will be back in a bit" She informs before dashing into the restroom. She seems to be having a difficult time in there because it takes her about 10 minutes to walk out with tears in her eyes.

" Muse, what's wrong?" I ask nervous, she doesn't say a word Instead she just pulls me into a hug. At this point it's pretty obvious that it's was just a false alert.

I am not going to be a father. This hurts but seeing my queen his sad hurts more.

" Don't worry about the baby. We will get one soon" I encourage with a caress to her back

" I'm pregnant" She confesses with a smile I between tears.

" What?" I question, feeling as though my ears are playing pranks on me.

" I am carrying your baby. I am so happy" She says with an awkward laugh

" You are pregnant?" I ask nonplussed as I pull away from the hug, and she nods in confirmation. Her confirmation hits me like a suname. I thought I knew happiness still she confirmed her pregnancy.

My eyes feel heavy.

I try my best to resist the edge to cry but all my efforts seems abortive.

Within a second, the tears sneak out of my eyeballs.

" What is wrong babe?" She ask confused in fear.

" I'm sorry happy. You have made me so happy" I confess and she burst into laughter

" Don't cry alpha, you're embarrassing me" She teases, and we burst into laughter

" Congratulations Alpha, Luna. Please ensure to come to the hospital for a check up. I have to take my leave now" The doctor informs

" Of course. Thanks doc" We gratify with a handshake before she walks out.

" How do you propose we announce the news of your pregnancy. Do you prefer a large gathering with all the pack's folks or we could just do it via national television?" I question excitedly but all she does is burst out laughing.

" Isn't that a little too much. I don't even know how old the pregnancy is" She says laughing "How about we keep it a secret for now " She suggests

" As much as I love that, I would really like the whole world to know that I am going to have a baby with the woman I love" I inform with a frown

" And there will know in due time. For now let's just tell only a few family and friends" She suggests as she wraps her arms around my torso, while griming from ear to ear.

" Anything for you" I approve with a smile. " So who do you propose we tell first. Your mom or my mom?"

" Your mom. I can't wait to see the excitement on her face" She says excitedly

" Let's go then" I give her the go ahead

" I haven't brushed yet. Let me go get cleaned up first" She objects but I cut in

" Your perfect. Let's just go already" I insist and she gives in.

We quickly dash into mom's room and I must confess mom wasn't happy to see us one bit.

" What are you two doing here together" She questions with a frown upon opening the door.

" Can we atleast come in first?" I ask, still smiling. Nothing is this world can ruin my joy.

" Sure" She says shifting away from the door and we both walk in.

" So, what is so important that one of you couldn't deliver?"She ask nonplussed

" Mom, we are having a baby" I inform excited as I held Octavia's hand in mind

" Oh God!!!. Finally" she says with a breath of relief "So what is it's gender?" she ask plainly in an emotionless manner

" Mom, I am sure that should be the least of your worries now. Shouldn't you be happy that atleast I am pregnant?" Octavia questions with a frown, and I have to to agree, this wasn't the behavior I was expecting. Who cares about the baby's gender.

" That's what you think. I have been ruling the pack long enough to critically say what this needs is an heir. If you are only going to bore a daughter. I suggest you terminate the pregnancy now" Mom says coldly

" Are you in anyway saying a man's life is more valuable than a woman's" Octavia questions with a frown

" Surely you don't need me to answer that, do you?" Mom ask with a distasteful frown "I don't need to tell you how useless you are in comparison to my boys. We all know that you are just a glorified baby maker...." Mom says before I cut in

" Mom enough. You will take to my wife with some respect. She is my Luna and as such you would accord her with every respect you would me..." I warn but Octavia cut's in

" Eren please watch your tone. She's still your mother" She tries to restrain me.

" No let him insult me. Say trash to me your mom just because I told your wife the truth" Mom says arrogantly which annoys me further

" What truth mother?. You called a woman who calls you mother a glorified baby maker" I yell bitterly.

" It fine Eren. I am not complaining" Octavia still tries to support her.

" Well you should start complaining. You aren't her servant anymore don't let her treat you like trash. You are part of this family, you are an alpha by relation. My luna" I inform bitterly. I sick and tired of watching her treat my wife like trash, especially on a joyous occasion like this.

" I know but....." She starts speaking but mom cuts in

" Oh Octavia stop pretending I know you are enjoying this. This is all your stupid plan from the start wasn't it. Turn my children against me, first it was Nick, now Eren. I hope you are ready for the consequence of your actions because I am not backing down" She threatens.

What has gotten into my mom she is acting full ballistic all of a sudden.
