" What are you suggesting. I can't marry my fiancee's brother" I thunder acrimoniously at her

" Think about it Octavia. You need to pay your mother's medical bills. Nick wouldn't help you and Eren doesn't mind marrying you" Mom Lora explains

" Could you hear yourself speak mother. Eren wants to marry me. How can you suggest that. Have you forgotten that I am engaged to be married to you second, and together is supposed to be our wedding date" I remind bitterly

" And have you forgotten that he caught you with his brother in bed, and he has rejected you?" She questions

" Listen Octavia. I see you like my own child. Believe it or not your mother and I were good friends growing up. The Last thing I want for you is to be humiliated and ridiculed. Marrying Eren would be good for you, he would take care of you. Provide for you, you will never lack anything" She tries to convince me.

" But I can't. I don't love him" I confess in tears

" Love is just a word. You don't need is a brain. I didn't remain Luna for 28 years just because of love" She informs nonchalantly.

" Even at that mom. I can't marry a man who forcefully took advantage of me" I inform acrimoniously

" Tell me Octavia, what is the price of your virginity. Is it more valuable than your mother's life?" She ask and to that I am left speechless, there is nothing in my life that is more important than my mom to me.

" I thought as much. I know you love your mother and I love my children. So we need to help each other. Marry Eren and I will take care of all your mother's hospital expenses, plus you won't have to be humiliated anymore. We will just have to explain to the rest of the pack that Eren and you have been dating for a while now, and you two decide to tie the node, and dismiss what ever rumors going about, about Nick and you dating. Saying it was just pointless ranting from jobless people" She explains with a reassuring smile, consequently sparking something in the back of my mind.

" This was all your plan. You drugged me. You planned this entire rape incident with your son Eren, to ridicule me, and corner me this marriage with your son" I confess as my heart feels like tearing from betrayal

" You catch up fast. I like that. Spares me all the stress of explaining" She says in relief as she takes a seat on her couch.

" But why aunty. I took you like my mother, and you betrayed me like this" I yell as tears flow profusely from my eyes balls.

" Oh enough with tears Octavia. I had my reasons and I am not sorry for them. So if I were you I would happily settle for my generous offer, or else you would have to be forced to bury your mom first thing tomorrow morning, because I am kicking her out of my hospital" She says coldly with a dead serious demeanor.

" No Luna, you can't do that. I beg of you she is all I have" I beseech her on my knees

" Then do what is right" She says mockingly with a smile as she paths my right cheek "Your wedding is in an hour's time, same venue, same guest, just a different groom. Make sure you are not late" She adds before walking out and it's pretty clear that I am all out of options here. I have to marry Eren for my mother's seek.

Sacrifice, a word so easy to say but so hard to do.

All my life I have been treated like any outcast, because of my parentage and just when things were about to turn around for my good, something like this had to happen.

If I wasn't meant to have happiness then atleast the least I could do with my pathetic existence is help prolong my mother's life. It's the least I could do after all the torments I put her through.

I dust myself up and take a shower before slipping into my extravagant wedding dress .

Today was supposed to be the happiest day in my life but instead it feels like a funeral.

' I don't think I can do this?. I am scared'- I think to myself before my room door opens and mom walks in.

" Where is the bride at?" She ask excited as she walks in with a smile

" Mom, you came" I say excited as I pull her into a hug as tears escape my eye balls.

" I am so happy"

" Don't cry child. You know I wouldn't miss your big day for any reason. You look very beautiful my dear" She says with a proud smile.

" Thank you mother. You look good as well. Are you sure you are allowed to be out of the hospital at a time like this?" I ask unsure

" Of course child but not for long. I couldn't possibly miss your big day. So where is your groom?" She ask with a smile " It's Eren right?"

" How did you know?" I ask unsure

" Luna Lora told me about it and I am so happy. I always dreamt of you and Eren getting married and today it's finally happening" She says with tears of joy. If only she knew the circumstances surrounding our marriage.

" To be honest I had my doubts when you informed me about getting married to Nick. I knew that that man had insecurity issues and was abusive. I feared your marriage life would be full of struggles but now that it's Eren. I am so happy. You know I practically raised that kid, and I assure you he will be the best husband for you" She says and I burst into tears.

If only she knew what I am going through right now she wouldn't be happy, she would be mourning.

" Why are you crying child?" She ask concerned

"cr I don't think I can marry Eren mother. I hate him" I confess sincerely

" I don't understand. What do you mean by you hate him?" She ask as she clutches on to chest in argony.

" Mom, what's wrong?" I ask as I help her to a seat

" Nothing sweetheart. It's just my blood pressure, it has been shooting up lately. I have just been so worried about you" She confesses with a worrisome look.

" You shouldn't worry about me mom. I am fine" I lie trying to force a smile to my face, the last thing I want to do is give her a heart attack.

" But you are not. You said you didn't want to marry Eren. You said you hated him" She reminds

" That wasn't what I meant to say. You cut me midway. I was going to say I hate having to get married to him when your health isn't at a hundred percent" I lie with a smile.

" Is that so child?" She ask and I nod in approval " I was just so scared. Now I can rest easy" She says with a smile.

" Of course mom. I am very happy" I lie pulling her into a hug. I just have to put up with this marriage for mom's sake. It's the least I can do.

LORA POV

A scattering sound of broken glass echoing from Eren's room as his servants scramble out of his room.

Something isn't right.

Without hesitation I run into his room to remedy the situation at hand.

When I enter, he is on the floor, crying like a little baby. His clothes torn, his portraits scattered all over the floor.

His hands are covered with blood, and his exposed skin covered with whip marks.

Next to him lied a dog chain, he must have self inflicted pain on himself again.

Normally when Eren goes full bisack in broad day this could only mean one thing, his episodes are back.

" What are you doing son?. Stand up" I command in a panic as I shut the door behind me.

" I don't want to mother. She hates me" He says in tears.

" Who does?" I ask nonplussed, just 30 minutes ago he was so excited, getting ready for his big day.

I remember the excitement on his face when he said that today he was going to finally wed his muse.

What could have happened to get him down like this?.

" Octavia mother. I heard her tell her mom that she didn't want to marry me, that she hated me" He confesses still crying his eyes out.

" Why did you go to see her in the first place?" I ask confused by his stupidity

" I wanted to apologize for forcefully taking advantage of her last night, because I felt so guilty. You know how much I love her right?, but she hates me, and it's all my fault" He says still crying uncontrollably

" It's not your fault son. You did nothing wrong. She was meant to be your from the start. It was your right" I inform him, tilting his gaze to meet mine.

" Look at me son. You are alpha, and Octavia is your mate, she is your wife and she loves you. She is waiting for you at the altar as we speak because she loves you" I try encouraging him.

" You're sure mother?" he ask unsure

" I assure you. Your muse is waiting for you. You don't want to keep her waiting do you?" I ask with a smile as I wipe his tears.

" I better get get dressed then" He says with an excited smile as he rises to his feet.

" Servants" I call out and 3 servants run in immediately.

" Tidy up this place, and make him sparkle" I command

" Right away luna" They agree before leading him into the restroom.

The last thing I want is for someone to see him like this, especially Octavia. If she was to see him like this she would definitely put an end to this marriage.

If that happens I will be done for. Who else would be desperate enough to marry a madman.
