Snow was howling in my head, and then prancing around, saying, "Mate," over and over again. My eyes fluttered open slowly, not quite ready to wake up yet. I took a deep breath. That was the moment my eyes shot open. Mint chocolate ice cream and warm chocolate chip cookies are all I could smell. How could he smell like that? I jumped up, straddling Robert, while he still slumbered, and I buried my face in his neck, breathing his scent in deeply. He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face in my neck.
