Elona's POV
After the restaurant, Tristan and I walked to the park, and we kept a bit of a distance so that it wouldn't seem suspicious, especially if we bumped into anyone that we knew. It was a slow walk, and I was a ball of happiness because Tristan and I were trying our hand at dating, which I cannot believe that it came true.
We walked towards the lake, and then we just went over to a nearby bench and took a seat. "Perhaps I should get you home soon. I don't want your father to be worried or ground you," he smiled as he looked over at me. The lamp that we sat under was shining over us.
"I guess so. I just want to know something," I said.
"What is it?" he asked, shifting on the bench so that his body faced towards me.
"The night of the club, it was my first time drinking and Cris was the one that told me what to wear. I felt so ashamed and embarrassed to wear that attire, let alone when you saw me in it. You scrutinized me. You were disappointed and that actually made me feel sad. You sat in front of me on the coffee table at your house, and before you could say anything, my father knocked on the door. I could see that disappointment in your eyes," I held his gaze, but that disappointment was long gone. "What were you going to say before my father knocked on the door?" I asked, I was dying to know.
He parted his lips and looked down, "I don't think that you want to know what I was going to say in that moment, it is the past and I trust that you won't be going to a club again," he looked up into my eyes. His forest green eyes were dark.
"Was it that bad?" I asked, which was barely a whisper.
"Yes," I sighed as he looked ahead.
"What were you going to say?" I pushed further.
"Elona-"
"Please," I begged, and he held my gaze again.
"I was going to say that you were a huge disappointment, and it was a disgrace. I wouldn't want to be with someone that was acting up and dressing that way. But I was going to say that in the moment before I even knew that Cris was the one who dressed you up and that you just tagged along. I know you better than to be a party girl, Elona. That is why...that is why I fell for you too," he admitted.
That stung my heart but I swallowed. "You care enough about my attire, but you want me to wear a lingerie bodysuit for you," I stated.
"That is only meant for me, no one else. I hate the fact that you want to pursue modeling. I would do anything for you not to pursue it. Men will look at your body, you will be naked and private parts will be covered. You might be posing with men and I hate to even think about that," he shook his head, his jaw clenching.
"Then don't think about it," I smirked. I will have fun seeing him miserable whenever I do my photoshoots, because I won't be stopping the career that I want to pursue.
"That will be difficult to do," he said softly.
My phone rang, and I took it out of my pocket, "It's my dad," I answered. "Hey, dad."
"Where are you? I saw Spooky and Cris walking home when I drove back to the house."
"I am at the park, I just needed some fresh air, but I will be home soon," I said, hoping that I was not in trouble because he sounded disappointed.
"Make sure that you tell Tristan to see me when he drops you off at home," he said and hung up before I could even say anything.
"What is it?" Tristan asked.
"My dad wants to see you when you drop me at home." I placed my phone in my pocket.
"F^ck. I was supposed to meet him at the bar, but I went to the restaurant instead. I can understand that he wants to say a piece of his mind about not showing up."
"He saw Cris and Spooky walking down the street," I replied.
"Then he probably asked them. So we might be in some sort of sh^t... Well, I will be in sh^t by your father," he said and I stood up.
"We need to get moving then. I don't want my dad to wait any longer and I'm supposed to feel sick or something."
Tristan stood up, but he took my hand in his, and he pulled me closer to him, leaning down, his face was inches away from mine. My lips were parted, and I wanted him to make that move. I was nervous as my heart was beating wildly in my chest and my core was throbbing with need.
"I have been dying to kiss you," he rasped.
As he leaned in closer, someone whistled at us and I realized that us being in public was risky. I pulled away as his lips brushed against mine. "We can't-we can't do this in public," I said, as if I ran a marathon because I was out of breath.
"You're right. I'm sorry. That is just what you do to me each time, " he said with disappointment. "Let's get you home before your father unleashes his wrath on us both if we are not there soon."
We walked in step all the way to where his car was parked at the restaurant. I was hugging myself as I waited for him to unlock the car so that I could get inside. "Are you getting cold?" he asked as he walked over to my side.
"Yeah," I replied.
"He took his jacket off, and he placed it over my shoulders and I held onto it so that it wouldn't slip off. The lights flashed of his car as he pressed a button on his car key,. He opened the passenger side door for me and I got inside. The car smells like him, the delicious scent that I always get from him.
He got into that car. "Are you ready?" he asked as he looked over at me, but I could barely see him as it was dark.
"Yeah, ready as I will ever be," I replied with a sigh.
I didn't want our outing to be over, I wanted it to last as long as possible. I hope that we get to have another opportunity to be alone together because I enjoy it so much. I felt his hand on mine, which was resting on my lap, and I stared at it. I loved it, this moment of physical contact. I couldn't help but smile. I can't wait to test the waters with him and see where this takes us.
