Tristan's POV
I had to get away from Elona in the backyard. Every ounce of her body in that bikini of hers made me want her so badly. I just had to get away and then I tried to bury myself in work as I always do. As I went through some documents, my mind was trailing back to her. I ran a hand through my hair out of frustration because this is wrong on so many levels. That is when Cris had called out to me that she would be at Elona's house. I felt relieved yet disappointed, but it is for the best that they were at her place instead.
My phone rang and it was an unknown number. It could be work, so I answered, "Crane."
"It's Maggie, I wanted to know if you are available later for drinks or just to go somewhere and have dinner?" she asked. I let out a sigh as I leaned back in the leather chair.
I contemplated what to say next. Elona comes to mind. "Fine, we can have dinner somewhere but this is not an evening to have s^x or anything. I just want it to be pure dinner, understood?" I asked.
"Of course," she replied. She was understanding and I appreciated that. I didn't want to f^ck anyone and I was avoiding David, Elona's father, for that reason. He tries to encourage me to be with someone who I am not ready for. I simply don't go around f^cking anyone. I had respect for my deceased wife, but my mind always drifted to Elona and that is where the sh^t happens. A distraction that I need from her. All sense of respect for my deceased wife is lost.
"Thanks. I will text you the details. Just text me your number, seem that you called me from an unknown number," I said with annoyance, and I hung up. Did I really want to do this? Yes, all because of Elona.
I checked the time and it was already 7PM, so I would be meeting up with Maggie at 8PM. I trust Cris enough for her to be home no longer than 10PM from Elona's house, unless she sends me a text, letting me know that she is sleeping over by Elona.
My phone chimed and it was a text from Maggie. Immediately, my phone rang in my hand and it was Steve. He was a good friend of mine and David. He owns a club named Galaxy. Sometimes, David and I would hang out there since we were younger. The three of us had always been together as friends since leaving college and Steve had always wanted to open his own club, luckily it was legal. He is doing good for himself. Ever since my wife died, I have never stepped foot in a bar or club until David forced me last night. It feels like a big mistake.
I answered the phone, furrowing my brows as to why he was calling me. "Steve, what can I do for you? Is everything okay?" I asked as he would never just call me.
"I don't know if you are aware of this but your daughter is at the club and she has been drinking," he stated.
"Crislynn? Are you sure that it's her?" I asked.
"Yes. I'm one hundred percent sure. There is also no mistaking that she looks like your wife," he replied.
I let out a huge breath and I leaned forward in my seat and I ran my hand over my face. "I will be right there-"
"Oh and one more thing, David's daughter is here too. I think that you might want to inform him if he doesn't know about this yet"
"Thanks" I said and then I hung up. I clenched my jaw, I wanted to throw my phone across the study room because I clearly told Cris not to go and yet she went behind my back and I would rather let David deal with Elona because she is the last person that I want to unleash my anger on.
I stood up from the chair and I grabbed my phone and keys and I left in a hurry. I literally drove to the club like a madman. I tried to call David but his phone went to voicemail. I was p^ssed off with Cris. She will be punished accordingly.
I got to the club, scanning the crowd as I stepped into a corner. There was no use walking through a crowd and missing them. I hope that Cris and Elona have not taken any other substances because it will be something that I won't easily forgive. They had already been drinking, so I might just let that slide. It was difficult to spot them anywhere because this place was packed. It was always packed and that is one thing that I am proud of when it comes to Steve.
I left my spot and walked to the other corner. There were stairs going up too, but that was mostly for the VIP section, but who knows, maybe they might just sneak up there or someone could invite them up but they are young and I don't think that Steve would let anything happen if they were on the second floor because of the business men that get to hang out there. That was also a space that Steve made sure to have for us business men.
As if the universe spoke, my eyes caught Elona. She was dancing with a man behind her, she was wearing a white halter neck top that barely covered her flat belly and her hair was loose in waves. I found Cris scanning the crowd and Spooky was beside her and the anger inside of me was so close to erupting, I was trembling. I moved my gaze to Elona again. She was frozen in her spot this time as she held her surprised gaze on me.
I moved out from the corner and I approached them. Cris finally saw me and her expression turned to guilt. She will have it tough with her punishment because this was something that she had tested me with and she hadn't seen my wrath before. As for Elona, she was the last person that I wanted to actually look at in this moment, but I did want to punch the guy behind her but he moved away before I got to them.
"Dad! I can explain!" Cris said, raising her voice above the music.
"F^ck an explanation! Get the f^ck out of this place! Both of you. Now!" they both jumped at my tone. As they both moved past me, I turned my gaze to Spooky. "As for you, if I ever see you with them again, I will inform your parents, are we clear?" I asked, my jaw clenching.
"Yes, sir," he replied, and I left.
The girls were waiting for me at the exit. Elona was dressed in a f^cking mini skirt and I was more p^ssed off that my daughter was dressed more appropriately than her. I am still trembling and I don't want to unleash my anger on Elona, I will leave that to David.
I just hope that David will be home by the time I drop Elona off. I really want to deal with Cris without Elona around. Maybe this was a good thing for me because now this is a distraction for me in some way, yet the men around her just aggravated what I felt. I didn't expect this from them.
