“Hallo?” I answered the phone in a sleepy voice as my phone woke me up at… ‘three AM?’ My eyes widened as I looked at the time.
“Maya? It’s Violet. You won’t believe who came back to school yesterday,” Violet said excitedly, and I let out a groan.
“Ahhh… Violet. Couldn’t you call me in the morning?” I whined while I sat up on my bed in my dark room.
“Oh, sorry, but I couldn’t sleep after I realised that I hadn’t called you yesterday evening. I don’t even know how I could forget.” She said and I rolled my eyes, but let out a chuckle anyway. That was Violet for you. She couldn’t even sleep if she had something to gossip about.
