“Maya?” Zara asked in a surprised tone as soon as she picked up the phone.
“Hey. What are you doing?” I asked her with a smile. I was happy to talk to her, even though I was still mad at her a bit for not telling me about Wade’s crush on another girl, but I desperately needed my friends now, so I would just forget about it.
“How is that possible that you call me from your old landline?” She asked in confusion and I let out a chuckle.
