Olivia's POV “This is great news, Olivia. I am so happy for you,” Sonia said excitedly the moment I broke the news to her. “So when do you start?” “Tomorrow. I'm excited and also nervous,” I said, and Sonia gave me a comforting squeeze on the shoulders. “Don't worry. I believe you will do just great there,” she assured me, and I smiled at her encouragement, which was exactly what I needed. “Sonia!” a DOM called for Sonia’s service, and she left while I continued cleaning the glass. Suddenly, I felt a strange yet familiar sensation and lifted my head. When I did, I noticed he was standing right across from me. Despite the black mask, I easily recognized him because of his remarkable shade of green eyes, which I haven't seen on anyone else. To be sure it was really him, I moved my gaze to his wrist but noticed the sleeves of his shirt were covering the tattoo. “We meet again,” he smirked while I frowned and lifted my gaze to look up at him. Our eyes interlocked, and I stared back at him as memories of six years flashed in my head, causing my blood to boil. I wished I could do something, maybe stab him, poison him, shoot him—anything to make him pay for what he did to me. “Olivia, right?” He lifted a brow at me. Despite how much I wanted to spit in his face, I knew I had to be professional and respectful to customers, especially Doms. Who knows, he might be a werewolf, an Alpha, a Beta, or even a Gamma. Sucking in a deep breath, I bowed. “Good evening, sir….” I had forgotten his name. “Enzo,” he completed my words. “I never knew a day would come when a lady I just met yesterday would forget my name while her name has been stuck in my head.” He chuckled while my frown deepened. “What can I get you?” I asked, trying to stay calm and not act out of frustration. “Let’s start with a whiskey, neat,” Enzo replied, leaning casually on the counter. His eyes never left mine, and the intensity made me uncomfortable. I turned away, trying to steady my trembling hands as I poured his drink. The bar was bustling with activity, but my mind was focused on the man standing before me. Memories of six years ago were hard to suppress, and seeing him now only brought them back with a vengeance. I handed him his drink, careful not to make physical contact. “Thank you, Olivia.” He said my name with a hint of amusement, like he enjoyed it on his lips. “Is there anything else I can get you?” I asked, keeping my voice steady despite the emotions boiling inside me. He took a sip of his whiskey, savoring the taste before responding. “Just your company for now.” I clenched my jaw, forcing a polite smile. “I’m here to work, sir.” His smirk widened. “Of course, but surely, you can spare a few minutes?” “Unfortunately, I don’t have that.” I turned to leave, but he stopped me by holding my hand. I felt my breath hitch as a strange flicker of emotion consumed my entire body, and I impulsively pulled away. Looking at him, I realized he must have felt it too because there was a flicker of confusion in his eyes. “Do you want anything else?” I asked, masking my emotions so he wouldn’t see that his touch affected me. “Is everything okay?” Sonia asked, sensing the tension. “Yes, Sonia. Just a demanding customer,” I replied, giving her a reassuring look. Sonia turned to Enzo with a professional smile. “Is there anything else you need, sir?” Enzo looked at me for a long moment before shaking his head. “No, thank you. I think I have everything I need for now.” As he walked away, I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding. Sonia looked at me with concern. “Are you sure you’re okay?” I nodded. “I’ll be fine. Just need a moment.” Sonia gave me a comforting squeeze on the shoulder again. “Take your time. I’ve got things covered here.” I stepped into the back room, leaning against the wall to catch my breath. The past I tried so hard to forget was catching up to me, and I needed to figure out how to handle it without losing myself in the process. After a moment of gathering myself, I went back to the bar and continued working, still moving my eyes around to get a glimpse of him, but it seemed he had gone to the VIP lounge where a play would be taking place. “Olivia,” Sir Linus called as he made his way to me. “Yes, sir,” I responded as I also made my way to him. “Get ready; you will be serving drinks in the s*x playroom. The show begins in ten minutes,” Sir Linus, the manager of the club, spoke, and my brow furrowed. “Serve in the playroom?” I asked with confusion. I have never served in the playroom before. “Yes, Olivia, you will be covering for Rio. She is unwell, and Lina will take your place here at the bar.” “Why can’t Lina serve in the playroom while I remain here?” I pleaded. I wasn’t comfortable working in the playroom. I couldn’t serve drinks to men and women who watched two or more people engaging in s****l acts on stage. A frown appeared on Sir Linus’s face. “Olivia, you will work where I want you to work with no excuses. Am I understood?” he said firmly while I swallowed hard and nodded. “Yes, sir.” “Good, get ready,” he said before leaving. “Is everything okay?” Sonia asked, and I sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on me. Sonia’s concerned eyes followed me as I gathered my thoughts. “I have to serve in the playroom,” I murmured, my voice tinged with frustration and anger. Her eyes widened in surprise. “The playroom? But you’ve never worked there before. Are you okay with that?” “No, I’m not,” I admitted, rubbing my temples. “But it’s not like I have a choice.” She placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. “Just take deep breaths and remember that you’re strong. You can handle this.” I nodded. “Thanks, Sonia. I just need to get through tonight.” I headed to the back to prepare for my shift in the playroom. The thought of serving drinks to a crowd engrossed in explicit performances made my stomach churn, but I had to focus on the task at hand. Taking a deep breath, I decided to go change. The uniform differed from ours. It was a short blue mini dress that showed most of our thighs. Staring at my reflection in the mirror, I packed my hair in a ponytail and sighed before stepping away from the mirror. I couldn’t wait to leave this place and work at my dream job, the Luciano Group of Companies. Ever since I got into university, I have had only one dream, and that is to be a staff there, and I will make sure I achieve it. Getting out of the locker room, I met Damon, who was a bartender but also a submissive. Since he was openly gay, he was a sub to Doms who were asexual or gay, and he has been making a lot of money from being a sub. “Where do I start from?” I asked, feeling frustrated. “Firstly, there are rules in that place. You must not look at the play going on for a long time. I know the people doing the play are masked, but you must not stare at them,” he cautioned. “I get it,” I replied. I don’t intend to look at them. “Your work there is to serve the Doms and submissive. You are not to chat or sit with anyone,” he warned in a serious tone. “Got it.” “Lola!” he called out. A girl dressed in the same uniform walked in. “You and Lola will work together. She will inform you about how things are done there. Please be careful,” he warned. “Most of these men are alphas, billionaires, politicians, and mafias. I don’t want you getting them angry,” he warned, and I nodded. “I will try my best.” “Give me a minute to go get something, and I will join you guys,” he said before leaving. After Damon left, Lola glared at me for a while before she moved closer. “I have seen you only as a bartender and sometimes a stripper. How did you end up here?” She asked. “I’m just filling in for your sick colleague,” I responded. It was obvious she didn’t like me. She scoffed. “I heard you are the diamond around here,” she said while I raised a brow at her. “And what do you mean by that?” I asked, and she scoffed again and moved closer to me. “I heard almost all the Doms want you. They want to have you, but no matter how much they throw or offer to you, you always reject them…” She paused and ran a quick glance at me. “I wonder what is so special about you. It’s not like you even have a wolf, so what…” “Is everything okay?” Damon announced his presence, and Lola took a step away from me. I looked at Lola and scoffed. There was no need to have another enemy. “Yes, Lola was just explaining things to me,” I lied, but it seemed Damon didn’t believe it, though he decided to let it slide. “Alright, we should go in.” He smiled and led the way. We climbed the stairs and walked through a hallway before he stood in front of a big door. “Are you nervous?'' He asked. “A bit.” responded while I nervously bit my lips. “Don’t be.” He smirked at me before pushing the door opened.
