Chapter 12 I almost left my seat in shock when two women just appeared in our living room. Instantly, I knew that this was my birth mother and gran. Even if I hadn’t been warned of their arrival, I would know at a glance that these women were related to me, the similarities between us were astounding. The younger of the two started to sob the second she layed eyes on me, but made no move to get closer to me, just standing there crying as if she could barely believe that I was here next to her. I can not stand to see her looking so upset. It is if our familial bond is calling to me to soothe and comfort her. She looks so surprised when I go to her and hold her in my arms, trying to bring her some comfort, while hoping that this shows her that I bear no grudges to them for their choices.
