Christian’s POV I stood there for a moment, the weight of the battle settling upon my shoulders. The snowflakes continued to fall, their gentle descent filled with the c*****e that surrounded me. I turned to a shocked Derek. “Let’s go on with our search. I’m too pissed for this.” We left the pack with mourning ensuing as we walked away, all my wounds healing as no evidence from the battle was left apart from the blood on my hands. “You shouldn’t have killed him,” said Derek in a mumble.
