The next day all I heard were murmurs of the servants talking about something I couldn't understand.
I would have liked to join their conversation but I distanced myself from listening. I would focus on myself.
That was when I had a little pain in my abdomen which brought me back to another problem I might have forgotten to take care of.
I was still pregnant.
For days I had been so focused on something else and staying alive that I had not thought of the growing child in me.
