Daisy's POV
It didn't take long to arrive to Rose's parents house. However, it felt like an eternity standing outside the door waiting for Rose to knock or ring the door bell. Not that I blame her. This is a huge deal and she must be feeling a range of emotions. April places a comforting hand on Rose's shoulder and gives her a small smile. Placing a finger of the doorbell, she pushes the button and we can hear footsteps running down the stairs.
Her mother is the one to open the door and she looks like she's just seen a ghost. Her eyes roll back and April runs to her and catches the woman before she can hit the floor. Well, this is off to a good start.
"Hun, who is at the door?" We hear her father ask as he makes his way to where we are standing in the doorway. "Dad? It's me."
