Chapter 19: Taking it slowly

Valentino Romano's POV

"I am ready to give you a chance".  My heart dramatically increased when she said that. I was so shocked at what I just heard. She was ready to me a chance?, she was ready to give our relationship a chance?. "I know it will be hard for me to forget what happened in the past but I am ready to give you chance. I know you are not perfect, I know you ruthless and scary but the softer side you have to yourself just melted my heart" she confessed and damn those words made my day. I smiled at her and hugged her tightly. 

"Thank you so much, thank you my dove" I whispered in her hair. I felt her arms wrap around my body as she hugged me back. I felt so much warmth and happiness in her arms, I belong here right in her arms, like she belongs in my arms. I've never felt this ever in my life except when I used to hug my mother. "but we have to take this slow Val, I don't want to be rushed or forced anymore" she said with her sweet voice. I caressed her face "Of course my dove, whatever makes you happy" I said and kissed her on her forehead. I was so f*****g happy, my love was ready to give me a chance and I will not ruin this opportunity for me and for her.

"You must be tired, you should take rest" I said but she shook her head. "It's still daylight and I already slept in the plane, so let's go out" she said in a cheerful tone. I smiled and agreed with her.

We were now walking on the pale beach with her in front of me and with me walking behind her stepping on her footprints on the sand. She looked behind and smiled watching me take steps where her footprint was. I reached her and held her hand. We walked hand in hand watching the aqua blue sea dance in calmness. I wish the time could stop right here. This is what I wanted, just me and my love together alone with no one else. 

I watch my dove look at the beautiful scenery in front of her while I admire the beauty on her face. She wasn't just beautiful from the outside but was so beautiful and pure from the inside. She was a cold girl from the outside but I knew how soft and strong she was from the inside. Feeling my gaze on her face she looked up at me and gave me a beautiful smile, so beautiful, just mine. "come, let's go and have some dinner" I said to her to which she nodded.

I was now in our room shirtless as I look through my wardrobe. I heard a gasp behind me and turned to see my lovely wife with a shocked face and wide eyes. I rushed towards her in concern. "What happened love?," I asked holding her shoulders. "Val" she said. I love this nickname coming out from her sweet mouth, my mother used to call me by this name. "W-what h-happened on your b-back?" she stuttered. My face hardened as I stepped back from her. 

"Tell me, who did that to you?" she asked now coming closer to me. Her body against mine made my heart beat increase. I stayed silent for a few seconds and sighed. "I did it to myself" I said quietly with a blank face. "But, b-but why?" she asked with a hurtful expression. I loved seeing her worry for me, it shows how much she is warming up to me. "because I hurt you" I said and turned around in guilt and shame. "You hurt yourself because of what you did to me?" she asked. She took my silence as a yes and hugged my stomach from behind laying her head on my back. 

My body was attacked with tingles when she touched me. I shivered slightly in pleasure feeling turned on. I loved the warmth she gave me, f**k, I just love her so much. I turned around to face her and grabbed her face in between my two palms. "I hate myself for doing that to you, I hate myself for raising my hands on you" I said stroking her cheek where I once slapped her. "I regret it so much, I wish I could go back in time and change everything. You helped me when I was alone and I hurt you in return. I am so f*****g messed up. I'm so sorry my angel, you deserve so much better but I am so selfish" I said leaning my forehead onto hers. 

"Don't do it again" she said after a few seconds of silence. "Don't hurt yourself again, what happened is in the past" she said comforting me. "I love you so much my little dove" I said and kissed her head. "I-I...", "It's okay my love, take your time. I promised we will take it slow" I whispered to her. 

I looked at her lips and she looked at mine. I could feel her breath lingering over my desperate lips. Her rosy petals were inviting me to take a taste. I leaned in towards her lips and tingles ran through my body as my lips met her rosy petals. She first froze but then started responding back moving her lips along with mine. Oh how addicted I was to her lips. I grabbed her neck and deepened the kiss while she wrapped her arms around my neck. I push her against the wall and grab her waist pulling her closing to me while I smooch her lips. 

She tasted so heavenly, so addicting, she was a drug to me, my drug. Her chest moved up and down at the intensity of our kiss. I plunge my tongue into her mouth but she refused to let me in. I then squeezed her ass making her gasp and made my way into her mouth tasting the nectar of her lips. I then trailed kisses from her ear down to her neck. I suck and nipped on her neck wanting to leave my marks. 

She moaned once I found her sweet spot. I smirked against her neck and kissed her back on her lips. She broke the kiss first breathing heavily due to the lack of oxygen. "That was f*****g fantastic" she whispered while breathing heavily causing me to chuckle. Our lips were going to meet again until we heard a gun shot. 

All of a sudden our window smashed "MARIGOLD" I shouted..............
