My entire body relaxed as I held my mate against my body in the tub, gazing into her eyes.
“How long have I been asleep?” she asked.
“Three weeks,” I responded as I wrapped my arms around her back, wanting her as close as possible.
Luna was taken aback by my words, but I soothed her, rubbing my hand down her arm as the warm water provided a comforting buffer from the world.
“Three weeks,” she repeated.
“Yes, little hybrid. The doctor said you exhausted your body, but none of us expected it would take that long.” I shook my head.
