Whace was running continuously in the hallway of the main building, trying not to make sudden acts because he's under the monster's nose. This skinless creature was just following him, it didn't do anything offensive as he just closely observed Whace in amusement with its eyeballs crawling on its enormous skin with mouths smiling and laughing endlessly.
It was even delighted if Whace would turn and continuously shot the spaces of his body that weren't shot yet, Whace was trying to track its weakest point to slow it down completely but it didn't show any.
And whenever Whace tries to sidestep or change direction from the path of the hallway, its eyeballs would widen and the mouths that were glued to its skin will scream in agony as if it would be a very bad decision to make.
