"You f****d up." Xander said as a way of greeting as I walked from the car to the front doors of his palace where he had been waiting for me like a pit bull, even at this late hour.
"I don't know how," I said, dragging my feet inside. "Things were going great, and then she flipped."
"Yeah, I know, I could feel your feelings." He practically hissed.
"We only kissed." I said sharply. "It was amazing, she was amazing, but when I went to move things along, she completely lost it and kicked me out." I said softer.
"She said she was a virgin. Maybe she was just nervous?" Xander asked, softening at the mention of our mate.
