TWO DAYS LATER
It has been the longest two days of my life, and Demi is still not awake.
Shadow and I were getting restless and slightly concerned.
We haven’t left her side, only a few times have we had to go, and that was mainly being forced by someone to eat.
I was sitting at the side, holding her hand, when I heard the door open. I knew who it was as she had been the same as me, Tina, her mum.
I didn’t bother looking at her, knowing she had taken the other chair on the opposite side.
We sat in silence till Tina spoke.
“Alpha Troy, Elias, and Rowan have left,” she said, making me look at her.
I gave her a nod.
“You have some terrific friends,” she said with a smile.
