“Aloida, where are we going to bring you? Your apartment or in the hotel where your cousin is staying?”
“Apartment, please,” Aloida replied after yawning. She felt sleepy, maybe because of the wine or out of tiredness from the whole day’s activities.
Before they could reach Aloida’s apartment, she was already silently sleeping inside the car. Lexandro even reached for her and let her head rest on his shoulder, until they reached her apartment.
“Aloida, we are here inside your apartment,” Lexandro, gently tapped her shoulders, but she was sleeping soundly and could not be easily awakened. With no other recourse, he carried her to her apartment and asked the driver to get the door key inside her bag.
