The cleanup at the mine seemed to take forever. Trevor didn’t want to think about what was happening at Barney’s Crystal Hall’s Church. The chaos there had to be as bad as it was at the mine. Rather than leave the bodies outside, every piece found was taken inside the tunnels where the deeper sections stayed much cooler than the sweltering outside temperatures. One of the larger galleries was turned into a makeshift morgue to store the dead. Attempts were made to gather the pieces into coherent bodies, but Trevor was sure mistakes had been made. His concern justified when he passed a body where three arms lay. The fact that all of Misty’s followers were mostly black clad and all of Crystal’s followers were khaki and tie-dyed made identification of limbs near impossible.
